Guzzi Race Bikes

Here's a few pics of some UK Guzzi racers from 15 - 20 + years ago.
The first is from TAB Racing  a pair of local friends based ( at the time)  here in Bristol -  Bedwyr and Torquil. Torquil once had a stint racing the Raceco / Three Cross Daytona.
The 2nd is the old Jim Blomley bike
The 3rd is a later Blomley bike
The 4th is the Bob Clarke (brother of Chris Clarke) and apparently used as a back up to the main bike - coincidentally I bought this around the same time as I had the Chris Clarke bike

Guzzi project modified seat

I posted a few pics up a few months back of Mark's project modified seat in progress.
He's going for a Le man tank and needed a two person seat, but wanted it different from the standard available  items. He also wanted to retain the original rear bracket for it to pivot on with the latter request making it harder to get a close fit to the tank. As it turned out the seat is not too dissimilar in style to the current V7 range of dual seats.
Cheap foam purchased to form a shape

I got a fibreglass base made by the professionals

Then after a number of consultations with the seat maker the
result is this, which I'm happy with and more importantly so is Mark

Guzzi Cafe Racer Bevel Box

I cut the flange from the bevel box the other day for the Cafe Racer project and and then dropped the casing off at the powder coaters for a textured black finish to match some of the engine and gearbox covers etc

Guzzi Clock

I don't as a rule buy things like this, but feeling flush with some money in my Ebay Paypal account I thought that it was a pretty good looking item. With a 'best offer' of £25 including postage I wasn't disappointed when it arrived. It's really very detailed even showing the head gasket with a thicker cut line.
