A Very Pleasant Surprise

Went out to my workshop on Thursday and a chap poked his head through my door to say hello. It turned out he owned a couple of old vintage BSA's,including a V Twin project and also this Triumph TR3. After chatting away for a hour or so whilst he checked it over for a potential VMCC run on Sunday (although predominantly a classic bike run they invite 20 cars along too) he said "hop in and I'll take you up the road" OK,we didn't go that far,but I got a feel for what it would be like on a proper open road................maybe next time ?
